Keep your existing equipment
You do not need to replace your energizer to add FenceGuard. Your installer checks the connections, power supply and signal before fitting it.
FenceGuard monitors the connected energizer. Your fence still needs regular checks and proper maintenance.

The relay switches on briefly, then switches off — like pressing a control button.
Timed output
The relay stays on for the period you choose, then switches off automatically.
Latch output
The relay stays on until you switch it off.

FenceGuard Pro+ & RX-Link
Let your fence alert your alarm system.
When your fence alarms, FenceGuard Pro+ sends a wireless signal to RX-Link. RX-Link’s relay can trigger your existing alarm system or armed response radio. The RX-Link relay stays on until the FenceGuard alarm is reset.
The link between FenceGuard Pro+ and RX-Link uses LoRa wireless communication. You do not need a cable between the fence device and the receiver.
A simple example
Your energizer is outside. Your house alarm is inside. FenceGuard Pro+ sends the fence alarm signal wirelessly to RX-Link next to the alarm panel.
Your installer wires RX-Link’s relay to the alarm-zone input or radio input, checks the wireless signal and tests the alarm response.
The armed response connection must be set up and tested with the relevant equipment and service provider.

FenceGuard works with any electric fence energizer in the South African market. An installer checks your setup and connects the device.

The installer checks the energizer, power supply and signal, then fits FenceGuard Pro or Pro+.
Connect the app
Set up the OneControl app, choose who can control the fence and set any schedules you need.
Test together
Test fence status, on/off control, battery monitoring and phone alerts. For Pro+, also test the RX-Link alarm connection.

Common questions
A few things you may want to know.
Must I replace my energizer?
No. FenceGuard connects to the energizer you already have. It works with any electric fence energizer in the South African market.
Can I receive phone alerts without a house alarm?
Yes. FenceGuard can send fence alarm alerts through the OneControl app without connecting a house alarm. Remote app features and notifications need power and an internet connection.
Which version connects wirelessly to RX-Link?
FenceGuard Pro+. Its LoRa wireless link sends fence alarm events to RX-Link, whose relay connects to your existing alarm-zone input or armed response radio.
Can someone else control the fence?
Yes, if you give them access. You choose who can control it. Bluetooth-only access requires the person to be nearby, within Bluetooth range.
