For many homes, the garage is the main way in and out. MotorGuard Pro gives your garage its own alarm too, with intrusion and tamper monitoring and alarm notifications on your phone.
Arm it manually or let it arm automatically. It works with any gate or garage door motor, even without a house alarm system.
Then take control of access: open and close the gate or garage door, give Bluetooth-only access and choose each person’s allowed days and times.

MotorGuard Pro gives your gate or garage its own alarm. The installer fits and sets up the sensors to monitor the gate or garage door and motor.

An alarm of its own
No house alarm? No problem.
MotorGuard Pro can work independently. You do not need to connect it to a house alarm to receive gate or garage alarm notifications in the OneControl app.
You can also check gate or garage door status, motor battery status and recent events from your phone.

Use automatic arming or set an arming schedule to suit your routine. Your installer will help set up and test the arming settings.

You decide who can open the gate or garage
Access that fits your household.
Give family, a domestic worker or gardener the access they need. Choose how they can open the gate or garage door and when their access is allowed.
Bluetooth-only access
Let a person open the gate or garage door from their phone only when they are nearby, within Bluetooth range. Leave remote opening switched off for that person.
Selected days & times
Give access on specific days and during set hours. Useful for a gardener who comes once a week or a domestic worker who comes on weekdays.
Pause & resume access
Give each person their own access. Pause it when it is not needed and resume it later. You can also change or remove access and choose which notifications they receive.
A simple example
Your gardener comes on Tuesdays.
Give them Bluetooth-only access on Tuesdays from 08:00 to 16:00. They can open the gate or garage door from their phone while nearby, during those hours.
You keep remote opening for yourself. You can change or remove their access in the app.

Relay settings
Choose how the relay works.
Pulse output
The relay switches on briefly, then switches off — like pressing a gate or garage remote button.
Timed output
The relay stays on for the period you choose, then switches off automatically.
Latch output
The relay stays on until you switch it off.

Optional alarm connection
Send gate or garage alarms to your existing alarm system.
MotorGuard Pro+ sends wireless alarm events to RX-Link. RX-Link’s relay connects to an alarm-zone input on any existing alarm system, or to an armed response radio. The RX-Link relay stays on until the MotorGuard alarm is reset.
You choose the setup
Use MotorGuard on its own for app notifications, or add the alarm connection. Your installer wires RX-Link to the existing equipment and tests the signal and alarm response.

Fits your existing gate or garage setup.
MotorGuard works with all gate and garage door motors. Your installer checks the wiring and power supply, fits the sensors and connects the OneControl app.
Choose & fit
The installer chooses Pro or Pro+, fits the device and sensors, and checks the power and Wi-Fi signal.
Set up the app
Connect the device, choose the arming settings and give access to the right people.
Test together
Test gate or garage alarms, phone notifications, opening and closing, Bluetooth access and the allowed days and times.

Common questions
A few things you may want to know.
Does MotorGuard replace my gate or garage motor?
No. It connects to the motor you already have and adds gate or garage alarm monitoring, app control and access features.
Can someone open my gate or garage from anywhere?
Only if you allow remote opening. With Bluetooth-only access, they must be nearby, within Bluetooth range. You can also limit their access to selected days and times.
Can I use it without a house alarm?
Yes. MotorGuard Pro and Pro+ are independent gate or garage alarms. You can receive alarm notifications through the OneControl app without connecting a house alarm.
Which version connects wirelessly to RX-Link?
MotorGuard Pro+. RX-Link’s relay connects the wireless gate or garage alarm events to your existing alarm-zone input or armed response radio.
